Join CrazySocks4Docs founder, Dr Geoff Toogood, along with Dr Tahnee Bridson, Founder of Hand-n-Hand Peer Support and other special guests on Friday 3rd June, 6.45am (ACST).
Geoff is travelling to Adelaide where an event is hosted by Doctors’ Health SA and the local South Australian Salaried Medical Officers Association (SASMOA) and ASMOF (SA Branch), to raise funds for the CrazySocks4Docs Foundation. It is a breakfast that now has a local following where nearly 200 doctors join together in brightly coloured outfits, enjoying some downtime with colleagues, whilst hearing from special guests and expert panel.
Geoff will be speaking along with Dr Tahnee Bridson who will be the special ‘fireside chat’ guest, sharing information about founding the Hand-n-Hand Peer Support service and how it is has supported so many. This year’s panel is focussing on how work practices and workplaces impact on doctors' health and wellbeing. Opening discussions on how the panellists’ organisations are striving to improve and structure their workplaces and practices that support positive working environments. Along with an understanding of how toxic work environments are negatively impacting doctors and as well health teams.
For the first time this year the event will be beamed to doctors across Australia via a virtual registration. Practices and organisations can hold their own breakfasts, dress in the brightest socks and join in the online community through social media as well. All the information about guests, panel and registration visit the Doctors’ Health NT website here - http://doctorshealthnt.com.au/events/crazysocks4docs-breakfast-2022
